Base miles to a frozen finish line

Loading…

For the next couple months I'm holding weekly mileage around 60 and getting to the track at least once a week to sharpen up for the road races this fall. Once the marathons are done in October, I'm shifting gears: mileage climbs by 10 miles a week through November, then holds at 100 miles a week through December. There will be a lot more trail running and elevation gain in that stretch to get my legs ready for my first ultra — the Wilson Creek Frozen 50K in January.
